Hi,

It seems that after latest update mouse gestures not working in www-client/chromium-46.0.2490.71 anymore for KDE

Package info:

https://bpaste.net/show/24f32a71b99a

Probably have to revert to previous version 45, even though the package is marked as stable in the system.

I would appreciate your advice and recommendations.

Thanks!

I am still stuck on Chromium 43, but to make gestures work i had to resort to this trick:

Code:

TOUCH_SCREEN_ID=$(xinput list | awk '/elan-touchscreen/ { gsub(".*id=",""); print $1 }')
CHROMIUM_FLAGS="--touch-devices="$TOUCH_SCREEN_ID

into my /etc/chromium/default file.

Basically, you have to tell it which is the ID of your touchscreen, it would not recognize automatically.

Thanks. This interesting but not relevant. And it working but for like a touch-device and makes some excessive behaviour. This is not exactly what I needed.

I just need support mouse gestures only for my generic laptop in KDE. It works with <=45.0.2454.101 version very nice.

Problem solved.

SOLUTION:

Needed replace old setting: window class => chromium

Now

System setting ... -> Conditions -> Edit -> autodetect

After apply new setting, all works perfectly.

Thanks for all and excuse me ;)

Hope it help for new updates with mouse gestures setting.
