I have been compiling some new kernels recently, but all of a sudden dri is doing strange things.
When I start X after a reboot, I don't have dri permissions for users (altough it has worked for a long time, and the dri section is in my XFree86Conf). Root does have dri. I have to emerge xfree-drm before dri works...
What should I do to make dri always work?

I had the same problem when I tried to make DRI working. Strangely enough, moving DRI section from the very end of XF86Config to the very beginning of it solved the problem. Probably this section has to be read before modules section, not sure. _________________ Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear bright before you hear them speak. |
