Hi!
i am trying to configure properly system-wide the dock keyboard for a TF700T arm tablet. It's a bit custom (for example the android back key needs to be mapped to ESC and so on).

I am following this;
https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Asus_Transformer_Infinity_(TF700T)/Install#Fixing_the_keyboard_layout_in_X_.28hard_way.29

and i can correctly select TF700T keyboard type in LxQt keyboard configuration, but nothing happens, the esc key and all the other keys which should be configured, are not.

I guess something is missing, like a connection between the keymap and the actual keyboard.

Can anybody shed some light?

thank you

ps: of course i can fix it with xmodmap, but this is not what i want, i want to define the new keyboard properly and submit upstream to get xkeyboard-config fixed to add it...

I reply to myself...
after carefully inspecting the above indication, there was a stray "+" which was incorrect. Fied the type, now it works. Sorry for bothering!!
