Hi. I have problems compiling a lot of packages. I post the output of one package, the others is the same :)

This file contains any messages produced by compilers while
running configure, to aid debugging if configure makes a mistake.

It was created by gutenprint configure 5.2.9, which was
generated by GNU Autoconf 2.69. Invocation command line was

$ ./configure --prefix=/usr --build=x86_64-pc-linux-gnu --host=x86_64-pc-linux-gnu --mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info --datadir=/usr/share --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var/lib --disable-dependency-tracking --libdir=/usr/lib64 --enable-test --with-ghostscript --disable-translated-cups-ppds --disable-libgutenprintui2 --without-gimp2 --without-gimp2-as-gutenprint --with-cups --disable-nls --without-readline --disable-static --enable-cups-ppds --enable-cups-level3-ppds --without-foomatic

Report the output of
Code:
gcc-config -l
please.

That's a dash ell, not a dash wun. ;)

As usual, NeddySeagoon is right. :)

Try:
Code:
gcc-config 1
source /etc/profile
(that's a wun) and then retry your emerge.

A sure sign that you are touching and knowing (badly) too much --depclean then :)

Here's the solve
Code:
gcc-config x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-4.9.3

note to self: never said "C compiler" anywhere, it attract site admin too much

lordalbert,

Your gcc was working fine. One day you got a new gcc in a different slot but you did not select it, so portage continued to use tho old active gcc.
Later still you ran emerge --depclean. This removed your old but active gcc, leaving you with a newer but inactive gcc.

gcc is installed but not active. You need to select it with gcc-config.

You should have run
Code:
gcc-config --help

Posting simple questions on forums and waiting for answers is a waste of time.

I didn't know is a gcc-config problem. I didn't know also there is a profile of gcc (i knew only system profile, which listed by "eselect profile").

Not knowing gcc-config, i couldn't run a "gcc-config --help" :)

There aren't "simple questions". There are only questions you know or questions you don't know.

Buffoon,

Its like everything ... its simple when you know the answer.

I didn't even know that gcc-config had a --help option.
gcc-config, with no options gets you the useage.

The answer this time was very generic. Just any command will spit out some help when run with --help or -h. You may not know what a particular command does, but you should know how to make it tell it to you.

Not knowing how to change gcc profile is not a simple question, but after you were told to use gcc-config the question how to use it was simple.

No insult intended, I recommend you rely more on yourself.
