Well, it looks like Gnome3 is working once more with FGLRX!
Just wanted to share this information as I've posted a lot of "doesn't work" messages... Gnome3/gdm had been broken on a FGLRX/systemd system for a long while, but it looks like it finally works once more after this last system update from portage. Now when it comes time for me to move to kernel 4.x on this machine I'm sure I'll have problems...
So much for closed source software.
Thanks to the Gentoo devs (as well as the Gnome devs, and grudgingly ATI/AMD too, for now)! _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD

Hmm spoke too soon. Nautilus is crashing on me, but unsure if it's driver related or perhaps my setup files are out of date. In any case it seems to start running and crashes.
Oh well. Back to Thunar I go. _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD

Found the workaround to fix nautilus:
Remove or rename ~/.config/nautilus/desktop-metadata and have it rebuild it.
