Hi!
i am adapting Gentoo for an ARM tablet with an hardware keyboard and touchscreen.

I have this problem:
i have setup an hardware key to lock the touchscreen while switching off the screen, like any common touch-screen phone works..

The problem is that when X power saving kicks in and blanks the screen, the touchscreen is not disabled which leads to a lot of troubles (think pickup the tablet and start messing with it because the touchscreen was not disabled like you tought it was).

I need a way to run my own script each time the screen goes blank....

i could also install xscreensaver (at the moment i don-t hav it)... but i am not sure it is useful for this.
i am using lxde.

any help is appreciated!

thanks.
