So, I'm hoping some of you are better versed in nerd stuff than I am: I'm running FVWM, and using MuPDF for my default pdf viewer (because I'm hardcore). Trouble is, MuPDF identifies itself by the name of the file displayed. Usually, in FVWM, you can set the icon of an application with the following line in the iconstyles file:
Code:
Style MuPDF          MiniIcon   /path/to/icon/icon.png

This does not seem to work for MuPDF, so do you all happen to know the |337 H4XX I need to use to get MuPDF to have an icon in the iconmanager and desktop pager?

Thanks for the help,

EE

You can try running FvwmIdent on MuPDF, it should tell you the window's class or resource, which hopefully will unique and can then be used instead of the title.

"Identify" shows:

Class: MuPDF
Resource: mupdf

But the Style variable doesn't seem to see that. Is there something different I need to do? Add an asterisk maybe?

Cheers,

EE

Or MuPDF is ignoring it, maybe the EWMHMiniIconOverride Style option can be of help here?
