Freshly installed Gentoo (systemd) on ThinkPad t440p.

Problem: Get black screen and blink terminal cursor on left-top when gdm is supposed to start. Gnome-shell is never seen. lightdm can start but cannot get into gnome with repeated login screen.

Information of journalctl, kernel config file and xorg.conf file can be found in website
http://gentooproblem.wikispaces.com/home

Some behavior during debug:
1. GLX extension can be enabled only when modules path is specified in Files Section in xorg.conf.
2. BusID (PCI ID) of nvidia card has to be given in xorg.conf, otherwise "no screen found".
3. xrandr gives "Can't open display"

Any help or hint is appreciated.
