Hi all.
I've just upgraded my system and got a taste of the "new" look of Xfce 4.12. There's just one thing that puzzles me, it's about the icon theme I'm using, which has never posed any trouble... until now. In transmission-remote-gtk, the settings toolbar button is much bigger than it should be. This icon actually is a 128x128 PNG image in the theme's scalable/apps folder, LagaDesk BlackWhiteIII icon theme, to which I have added several missing icons through time. (Note the theme seems no longer available on GnomeLook, KDELook and other official sources.)
If I switch to another theme such as Faenza or Tango (both old themes I have kept for a long time), the settings icon has the same size as the rest of them. Just that I prefer my current theme.
So what should I do to have the icon of a more reasonable size? Is there a check list I can follow to "debug" this? or is it just a bug in transmission-remote-gtk? _________________ Gentoo addict: tomorrow I quit, I promise!... Just one more emerge...

Back in the old gnome2 days there used to be an editor or some sort of config files for such things.
Basically you need to figure out how your current theme is set up and how the other theme is set up and correct it.
You may also try with a new user to see if you have any lint which causes issues in your home folder.
In the old gnome2 days there used to be a field which indicated where the theme worked or was tested. |

@tw04l124
That's it exactly: I need to figure out. Just that I feel totally incapable (or helpless) for this [seemingly] daunting task alone. Hence asking for some hints on where to look. _________________ Gentoo addict: tomorrow I quit, I promise!... Just one more emerge...
