Hi,

I have problem with frame buffer on PWS 500au with ELSA GLoria Synergy video card.
How I can disabling frame buffer at startup in aboot. For example:

Code:

aboot> 0 vga=normal

doesn't work.

Best regards

vga=normal will only prevent the vesafb driver from entering graphics mode and has no effect on other framebuffer drivers.
The correct kernel parameter to disable an individual framebuffer driver is video=<name of your fb driver>:off

Google says that the ELSA Gloria Synergy has a Permedia 2 chip. If that is the case, then pm2fb would be the correct one.
