Hi All:

Decided to spend a few minutes on this today and at the end of it all I am able to send a file to the BB from gentoo and receive a file sent from the BB PP to gentoo. What I cannot do yet is browse the files in the BB PP.

When I started trying to send a file from the BB PP to gentoo, i was getting this in my /var/log/everything/current:
Aug 16 18:57:32 [kernel] [ 3739.244731] traps: notification-da[17604] trap int3 ip:7f06be2d0503 sp:7ffdbed035e0 error:0
Aug 16 18:58:05 [dbus] [system] Rejected send message, 4 matched rules; type="method_return", sender=":1.40" (uid=1000 pid=32346 comm="python2.7
/usr/bin/blueman-applet ") interface="(unset)" member="(unset)" error name="(unset)" requested_reply="0" destination=":1.0" (uid=0 pid=4109 comm=
"/usr/libexec/bluetooth/bluetoothd ")

I then updated xfce-base/libxfce4util-4.12.1-r1.
I also updated notification-daemon because of this:
jserinki7 vde # equery depends notification-daemon
* These packages depend on notification-daemon:
virtual/notification-daemon-0 (gnome ? x11-misc/notification-daemon)
(!gnome ? x11-misc/notification-daemon)
x11-libs/libnotify-0.7.6-r1 (virtual/notification-daemon)

I then logged out of X and back in again and behold, I could send a file to my BB PP and receive a file from my BB PP.

When I try and browse files on the BB PP I get this error dialog:
"Failed to launch default file browser
The specified location is not supported
You can enter an alternate browser in the service settings".

syslog shows nothing.

When I try and get into Blueman local services, it doesn't run.
Am running the following:
jserinki7 vde # equery list blueman
* Searching for blueman ...
[IP-] [ ] net-wireless/blueman-2.0:0
jserinki7 vde # equery list bluez
* Searching for bluez ...
[IP-] [ ] net-wireless/bluez-5.25:0/3

Cheers,
John
