having problems mounting bcache device

I have an ssd and an hdd which I have used to create a bcache device
suddenly the device stops mounting(I use automounter) so I have removed the cache device(thinking the ssd was corrupt..etc).
unfortunately that was not the problem
now I'm trying to mount the bcache device and I get the following:
mount /dev/bcache /mnt/
wront fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/bcache0
missing codepage or helper program....

and in dmesg I get:
buffer I/o error on dev bcache0, logical block 122096624, async page read
ext4-fs (bcache0)imable to read superblock\
ext4-fs (bcache0)imable to read superblock
ext4-fs (bcache0)imable to read superblock
Buffer I/O error on dev bcache0, logical block 16, async page read

the fs on the device is btrfs, so if I use -fstype=btrfs I get no errros but the device does not get mounted
sometimes mount /dev/bcache0 /mnt
gives no errors and just hangs, in dmesg:
btrfs info (device bcache0): disk space caching is enabled
btrfs: detected ssd devices, enabling ssd mode

btrfs check /dev/bcache0 returns nothing but good results
