Hello everyone!
WebGL applicatons are really slow on my Gentoo Desktop both with Chrommium and Firefox, however I have a fairly new GeForce GTX 760 graphics card with proprietary driver (version: 349.16). The driver is working really well even with CUDA renderings with blender or playing games like Borderlands 1 on max graphics with PlayonLinux/wine.
Meanwhile on my notebook with a much slower hardware configuration (Intel HD 3000) chromium plays the same webgl projects fast, and Firefox a bit slower but still very good. My notebook runs a Manjaro Linux
Do you have any suggestions?
Solution:
Every time when I update media-libs/mesa package I have to set the opengl rendering to xorg instead of nvidia to avoid a compilation error (do not ask why), Last time I forgot to set it back.
So I did:
Code: | eselect opengl set 1 |
And now it is working like charm. |
