I updated last week and suddenly I am having major issues with a few PPTP VPN servers. My Galaxy S4 can connect to the VPN in question every single time, no issues. However, my Gentoo system is now doing this, every single time.

I am not sure what is wrong here. The server uses MPPE encryption (128bit) and I have the correct options in the VPN configuration. It worked prior to the update. _________________ Ever picture systemd as what runs "The Borg"? |

I figured this out. It is related to my firewall. I am not sure what though. I will continue this on my firewall thread here. _________________ Ever picture systemd as what runs "The Borg"? |

Solved! You can find the entire post here, but the solution was to allow the GRE protocol into the system. Apparently it does not work with the related/established rule. _________________ Ever picture systemd as what runs "The Borg"? |
