|
|
Hi everyone,
Since yesterday I don't have keyboard/mouse on my Gentoo, I did an emerge -Duv world then in my make.conf I add these useflags "abi_x86_32 -bindist" then I did an emerge -DNv world.
Everything worked fine except at reboot, I don't have keyboard/mouse on my kdm and network interfaces doesn't working without loading correct modules (before I don't have to do that)...
I check logs and I don't see anything.
Someone can help me please ?
Thanks.

I still looking for a solution, and I saw that I don't have network modules my lan and wifi cards but working when I load them.
The other problem is with "lsusb", I get this error:
Quote: | unable to initialize libusb: -99 |
So, I think that my system doesn't load automatic module but I only did "make olconfig" to compile the last kernel...
Exist another way to load modules automatically without any user intervention ?
Thanks. |

You're quite welcome.
Didn't you read the portage news message?
Gerard. _________________ To install Gentoo I use sysrescuecd.Based on Gentoo, has firefox to browse Gentoo docs and mc to browse (and edit) files.
The same disk can be used for 32 and 64 bit installs.
You can follow the Handbook verbatim.

Yes, but I didn't see anything strange so, I passed...
Starting the service was working perfectly... So, I read everything in the bug, I had already the last version of udev-init-scripts, and finally, it's the last solution that it worked for me, I mean, changing udev-trigger from sysinit to default runlevel.
Bye! |
