|
|
Hi,
I just installed openoffice-bin-4.1.1 and it gives me no indication what the executable is now called. Nothing at the end of the ebuild, no man page.
on my previous Gentoo incarnation it installed libreoffice rather than openoffice but I can't find anything that starts the suite and searching does not give me the answer.
Suggestions please.
TIA, Gentree. _________________ Linux, because I'd rather own a free OS than steal one that's not worth paying for.

I really wouldn't recommend that old horse.
For libreoffice:
Even 'soffice' still works, might be the same for openoffice. |

Code: | equery files openoffice-bin | grep /usr/bin/ | should give you a clue.

I"d found /usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice.bin but obviously not that helpful.
Code: | #equery files openoffice-bin | grep /usr/bin/
/usr/bin/oobase
/usr/bin/oocalc
/usr/bin/oodraw
/usr/bin/ooffice
/usr/bin/ooffice-printeradmin
/usr/bin/ooimpress
/usr/bin/oomath
/usr/bin/oowriter
