the same smb.conf file is working good in archlinux.

here is smb.conf:
http://pastebin.com/xVkFSGvV

i see that nmbd service is failed to be active when i boot gentoo.
(smbd service is successfully activated on boot.)

when i type systemctl, i see that nmbd.service is not active.

i can start nmbd with the command:
Code:
sudo systemctl restart nmbd

and now i can see my shared folders from windows 7.

and yes i have enabled both of them (nmbd/smbd) on boot using this command:
Code:
sudo systemctl enable smbd nmbd

how can i fix this?

thanks!

problem solved after upgrading samba to testing branch(now i'm on samba 4.1).
i did nothing else.
it is just the upgrade that solved the issue.
