Anyone know how to get ssh-askpass to work by default?
I guess I'm kind of annoyed typing ssh passwords. But wait... no I'm not talking about using ssh-agent, but actually typing passwords... how would ssh-askpass help?
I'm typing passwords on a touchscreen. The Linux touchscreen keyboards are miserable and you never know if you typoed a password until it says access denied. Since ssh-askpass can be configured to print a * each time a keypress is made, this will help considerably. But apparently on Gentoo this isn't default (nor should it be). Anyone get this to work?
(or if I could get ssh to print a * whenever a key is pressed, that will also help...) _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD
