Hi All:

I have 2 scripts that I want to use gksu on.
The first script opens up and IPSec-GRE tunnel to a site I must administer, call this script ipsecstart.sh,
The second script tears the tunnels down and sets everything as it was before hand, call this script ipsecend.sh.

Now, I write another script all connup.sh that looksl like this:
#!/bin/bash
gksu ipsecstart.sh

This works perfect THE FIRST TIME I RUN IT. It pops up a gtk windows, asks me for the root pw and the script runs, I'm connected.

Now the problems....
When I run this script, conndown.sh which is:
#!/bin/bash
gksu ipsecend.sh

it does not ask me for the root pw, it just runs. Similarly if I nbeed to connect again, it ipsecstart.sh does not ask me for the root pw, it just runs.

I actually DON'T like this behavior, I want it to ask me for the pw everytime.

how do I fix this?

Cheers,
John
