I am trying to get my usb gamepad working with Dolphin GC emulator. it is a Snakebyte controller. I am in both the games and plugdev groups, but my controller isn't being detected at all. xorg was compiled with "joystick" and this worked out-of-the-box on a previous Gentoo installation. any suggestions?

Check if your user is well in "input" group  .
I solved my problem like this.
