I've got some problems with installing my wlan card.
According to the box of my router, it should work with Linux kernel 2.6 , but you need to download a driver from the net (where i should find it is not included). Downloading a driver tends to be hard without internet, and this computer only has a wlan card to connect. So, now i am forced to run this vile windows to post this message.
Anyone knows how to solve this?
Thanks in advance,
BkH^^ |

Well, what kind of card is it (and what kind of chipset)? Perhaps it will work with the kernel drivers? Or maybe you can download the drivers you need, put them on a removable media from windows, and then boot back into Gentoo to install them. |
