I'm starting to get quite mad at gnome printing. Long time ago, gnome printed fine but I had problems in OpenOffice printing my fonts thick (which I solved). I upgraded to gnome 2.4, OpenOffice 1.1 Ximian, all printing related packages (hpijs, cups, foomatic, etc) and now I get thick fonts printing in Gnome (Evolution, AbiWord, Epiphany, etc) and OpenOffice Ximian (which uses gnome printing I beleive). It's very annoying, I now have to print to a PDF, and then print via acroread (which prints perfect, so it's not CUPS neither hpijs failing). Anybody experienced the same problem?

(It also seems like resolution changes in the gnome printing dialogs have no effect.)

okay I've got more information. It fails mainly at truetype fonts (although they display perfectly).
Should I file a bug?

EDIT: That is, to gentoo.
