fdisk question....
If I am using 2 disks, 1 for gentoo, and another for Windows 7,do I need to follow handbook step to make EFI BIOS boot? |

Well, it depends, but not on what you are asking.
UEFI depends on the machine you have, specifically on the motherboard. If your windows allready boots as EFI, then it is EFI capable and then, yes, you must use an EFI installations. If not, then you shouldn't. I am curious about what you are planning to do... do you mean two physically distinct hard drives? |

Yep, original platter HD came with laptop and Win7. I installed a 256GB mSATA and just finished my first try at Gentoo. So I choose the drive to boot the OS. |
