I accidently deleted the key /org/gnome/desktop/remote-access/enabled in the org.gnome.Vino scheme.

Now the gnome-control-center crashs with the message "Settings schema 'org.gnome.Vino' does not contain a key named 'enabled'", and of course vino doesn't start anymore.

How can I get that key back?

Code:

chef@gentoo ~ $ gsettings set org.gnome.Vino enabled true
No such key 'enabled'

Also r-emerging vino again does not create the key.

The problem is, that vino-3.14 (~amd64) and gnome-control-center-3.12 (stable) are not compatible, because the "enabled" key has been removed in 3.14.

Also, I didn't accidently delete the key, it just had been removed by ugrading to vino-3.14.

The solution is to just downgrade vino.

Is this thing worth to contact some gentoo ebuild maintainer that you can't use this combination or does "everybody" know that you don't mix different gnome versions?
