Hi, i'd like to try qemu, and it install it according the wiki page: http://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/QEMU

I have created a disk image with qemu-img command. Now i'm trying to install the iso into the disk image, i search an howto on the web, and it tell to run "qemu" command, but i don't have "qemu" in the system. I have only:

Quote:

qemu-img
qemu-io
qemu-nbd
qemu-system-x86_64

Is in gentoo called with other name?

In gentoo wiki, is written qemu-kvm, but i not have also this command...

Hi,

qemu-kvm was in qemu <2.0 , see bug 506566 and wiki needs an update...

I think what you search is qemu-system-x86_64 with -enable-kvm option

Thanks for the tip. I have updated the QEMU/Windows guest wiki page. I would appreciate if you could check this is all right now.

Cheers!

Edit: Sorry, I have just seen the notes further down
