I've done an update @world, including Gnome Shell 3.14 currently in testing. The extensions stopped to work, in particular the handy taskbar at the top listing the programs currently in execution.
In the Gnome Tweak Tool it reports that the extension does not support this specific version and the button to enable it is locked to Off. Then browsing with Firefox the website https://extensions.gnome.org/, it shows the error:
"We cannot detect a running copy of GNOME on this system, so some parts of the interface may be disabled. See our troubleshooting entry for more information."
In firefox, the plugin is set in about:plugins :
Gnome Shell Integration
This plugin provides integration with Gnome Shell for live extension enabling and disabling. It can be used only by extensions.gnome.org
MIME Type Description Suffixes
application/x-gnome-shell-integration Gnome Shell Integration Dummy Content-Type
The current boot log ( http://dpaste.com/04RKVEJ ) seems fine to my eyes, besides the usual ranting with the video card. Is there a log gnome specific?
Any idea what to inspect or how to solve this issue?
