I have installed Infinality, because the default font rendering was really ugly. I copied the fonts from my Windows 7 installation into /usr/local/share/fonts and set infinality style to win7 and lcdfilter to windows7-light, and the rendering is better, however, I am not fully satisfied, it still makes my eyes hurt a bit. I found out that I can tweak some settings in the infinality-settings.sh file, however, I don't know where to put it, because various sources say different locations. I found that file in /usr/share/docs/<some directory, infinality-settings.sh was in a zipped file>. Should I copy that file to /etc/env.d or /etc/profile.d? I am trying to get the same font rendering as on Windows 7. Also, if that's not possible, what is the best alternative? |
