|to be honest I've just altered my gparted.desktop to execute gksudo gparted, but I know this is going to get clobbered by an update sooner or later...
I really should sort out pkexec.... sigh...
at the moment gparted-pkexec spews the following
==== AUTHENTICATING FOR org.gentoo.pkexec.gparted ===
Authentication is required to run the GParted Partition Editor
Authenticating as: root
handily only at a terminal - giving no feedback at all when run via a gui menu.
What do I have to do to get it behaving like gksudo and why does it not work like this as installed ?
