Howdy. I'm working on putting together a base installation of Gentoo with Packer (https://packer.io/) for Google Compute Engine (GCE). I found this on the glory that is GitHub: https://github.com/d11wtq/gentoo-packer . That creates an ISO image for either VMware or Virtual Box (at this writing). I'm hoping I can use this and extend it relatively easily with Packer, but I'm just learning Packer.
Anyone else done such a daft thing as put Gentoo on GCE, either with Packer, or with <better image creation tool>?
Thanks in advance! _________________

Sorry for bumping this one, but I've been looking for the same in the past couple of weeks, I've only found this article useful http://terrarum.net/blog/creating-a-gentoo-cloud-image.html
Didn't try it yet, but I'm looking into it these days. _________________
