Gnome3 removed a lot of features. Thats why I use mate now.
I don't know if they removed connection sharing also.
Did you set the useflags for networkmanager accordingly?
Code: | net-misc/networkmanager
Available versions: 0.9.6.4 0.9.8.10-r1 ~0.9.10.0 ~0.9.10.0-r1 ~0.9.10.1_pre20141101 {avahi bluetooth connection-sharing (+)consolekit (+)dhclient (+)dhcpcd doc gnutls +introspection (+)modemmanager ncurses +nss +ppp resolvconf selinux systemd teamd test vala +wext +wifi wimax zeroconf KERNEL="linux"} |
For VPN you need extra packages....
Code: | [N] net-misc/networkmanager-openconnect (0.9.8.6): NetworkManager OpenConnect plugin
[I] net-misc/networkmanager-openswan (0.9.8.4@07/24/14): NetworkManager Openswan plugin
[I] net-misc/networkmanager-openvpn (0.9.8.4@07/24/14): NetworkManager OpenVPN plugin
[I] net-misc/networkmanager-pptp (0.9.8.4@07/24/14): NetworkManager PPTP plugin
[N] net-misc/networkmanager-sstp (~0.9.8): Client for the proprietary Microsoft Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol(SSTP)
[N] net-misc/networkmanager-vpnc (0.9.8.6): NetworkManager VPNC plugin |
