Hi

I have a problem were fail2ban complains about not have access to the eth0 interface. I had problems accessing the internet at first but with dhcpcd I got access to the internet on the machine. Links works. SSH to the machine works. I'm not using the installation cd but are logged in to the system I've installed on the computer.

Fail2ban gives an error message that the eth0 interface is not active or missing. Can I reconfigure this to another interface or make the need for the interface inactive or something?

Thanks in advance. :)

I found the problem. It was an udev issue were eth0 was renamed something else. It is explained further in the thread below.
