What has happened to Evolution 3.12?
Myself and a colleague were both happily using Evolution 3.10 (with patch from Bug 678216 – Server type IMAP+ option does not work with Cyrus-imapd shared folders) against Cyrus and Courier IMAP servers, but since the update to 3.12, we're both now getting:
1) It hanging when cancelling operations.
2) 'Scanning folders' indefinitely against the Courier server
3) Randomly reporting folders not found against the Cyrus server - I say randomly because closing and reopening Evolution causes the previously 'not found' folder to be available....
4) Deleted/Moved messages suddenly reappearing.
Am I missing something - should I delete all my accounts and set it up from scratch again? Should I report each bug separately? Should I just roll back to 3.10 and hope? I don't even know where to begin... _________________ http://www.axiomtech.co.uk

I'm using Evolution 3.12 against a dovecot imap server, it seems to work allright. Except sometimes it takes *hours* to sync with the dovecot server. It may be due to a slow dovecot server but it's extremely slow; it would be nice if it displayed some sort of progress bar...
I also run pine on the same database (without imap) and modest (n900) against the same imap/dovecot server - both of these don't have this huge slowness when syncing... _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD
