So everything worked fine. Wanted to play some UT2004 with friends enabled dedicated gpu in amdcccle, rebooted and poof! Just a black screen when starting X. Can't switch out of it either and the only thing that seems to work is the soft shutdown from the power button.
Worked fine last time I used it, maybe half-a-year or so. Figured perhaps it was the new beta drivers but nope, downgrading didn't effect this. Everything works fine if I switch back to the intel with switchlib but I can't start amdcccle anymore. Tells me to use aticonfig to initialise it properly.

| Hi, I've never used the fireglx drivers with a multi-GPU setup, but I think your problem is XOrg trying to load both drivers at the same time... I think the easyest / fastest way would be to uninstall the intel driver and see if that works. Multi-gpu with software switch can be a pain to setup. |
