The bootstrap.sh process fails with the following errors:
/var/tmp/portage/gcc-3.2-r1/work/gcc-3.2/gcc/reg-stack.c: In function 'subst_asm_stack_regs':
The bootstrap.sh process fails with the following errors:
/var/tmp/portage/gcc-3.2-r1/work/gcc-3.2/gcc/reg-stack.c: 2148:internal error: illegal instruction
make [2]:[reg-stack.o] error 1
make [1]:[stage3_build] error 2
make: [bootstrap-lean] error 2
Using CFLAGS="-march=k6-2 -O3 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer"
System is a k6-2 450 with 64MB RAM, 128MB swap part, on an 8GB hdd using ext3 for other 2 parts.
Any ideas?
I changed hard drives, and swapped the order of the DIMMs.
Same error.
