Hello.
How do I change the user, group and file permissions on every file under a specified directory? It's not funny to change all this by hand.
The command:
chown user dir/*
just changes the files in that dir but not all the sub directorys.

Well, a simple man chown would have told you that you are looking for the -R (--recursive) Flag.
