I'm having trouble getting the original Unreal Tournament running under Linux. I used the Loki installer, which installed it fine except for this error on the console:
Code: | ERROR: No matching delta for /usr/local/games/ut/System/Editor.u |
After that I tried playing it, but each time I try I get the following error:
Code: | Unreal engine initialized
Bound to SDLDrv.so
Joystick [0] : Unknown Joystick
SDLClient initialized.
Bound to Render.so
Lighting subsystem initialized
Rendering initialized
LoadMap: Entry
Bound to Fire.so
Case-insensitive search: Botpack -> ..\System\BotPack.u
Bound to IpDrv.so
Game class is 'DeathMatchPlus'
Signal: SIGSEGV [segmentation fault]
Aborting.
Exiting.
Name subsystem shut down
Allocation checking disabled |
I've tried running as both user and root, but same results. I don't really know what else I can try now. Any suggestions? Thanks. |

any ideas or suggestions at all as to what could be the problem or how I can fix it? I still haven't been able to get it working, and I've even had to resort to Windows in desperation Any help is much appreciated. Thanks. |

I got some problems too and I discovered that there were some problems in the names of some files being UPPERCASE. Since we use Linux, that makes difference. Try to lowercase the files (maps), and see if that helps. |
