Well I got a j6750 here. Its a dual 875mhz with 4 gigs of ram. Im going to install gentoo on it tomarrow. Any things to watch out for? Also its betting time. This machine is USB for keyboard and mouse. I've got 15 bucks that says its not going to work. Any takers? 8)

I've seen reports of a J6700 working - almost identical hardware. People planning to install on PARISC should really check out http://www.pateam.org/list.html

The good guys at ESIEE keep the list pretty well updated and link to mailing list entries that are specific to getting each model working.

Also check the FAQ at http://www.parisc-linux.org/faq/index.html Here it states explicitly that USB should be working. I'd take you up on the bet, but being in Norway I would have trouble collecting  I'll settle for a virtual pint
