Hey guys,
Basic question I'm sure, but I have little experience with sparc architecture. I'm about to install 2004 on an Ultra 1. I have the latest live cd for sparc 64 DLed and ready to go. My only question is: How do I know if the Ultra1 is 32 or 64 bit? Is it both, and will do either or depending on the OS? I'm afraid I don't quite understand..
Thanks A Lot. |

I believe that would be 64 bit:

This link is near the beginning of the install documents...just give them a read through before you install....this is my first one too (Ultra2)...but, a quick read through before you start will help you get through it. It is a bit different than a normal x86 install.
HTH,

If it has 'ultra' in the name, it's 64bit sun4u. |
