* Could not determine your kernel version.
* Make sure that you have /usr/src/linux symlink.
* And that said kernel has been configured.
* You can also simply run the following command
* in the kernel referenced by /usr/src/linux:
* make include/linux/version.h
*
!!! ERROR: The ebuild did not complete successfully.
!!! Function check_KV, Line 50, Exitcode 0
!!! (no error message)

If anyone know how to fix it.. plz let me know.. thanks.. |

Look into /usr/src you should have your kernel in the src. You need to do a symlink call linux that point to /usr/src/linux-2.4.19 or whatever kernel you have.
ex : ln -s /usr/src/linux-2.4.19 linux
then try back. By default when you emerge a kernel it should be there maybe you remove it ?? |

I did that.. but still the same..
all I have in the /usr/src is a folder called linux-2.4.19-gentoo-r9
ps, I did, remove the linux-2.4.19-gentoo-r5 folder that was there originally, and there was a folder called linux there, but I remove that too to save room.. but what now.. since I removed them?? |

I think he means the /usr/src/linux symlink
to update it:
cd /usr/src
rm linux
ln -s linux-2.4.19-gentoo-r9 linux
this asumes u r using r9, and if u emerge sync'ed this moth you prolly are

if you having the same problem as me, just do that.. it works.. |
