A minute ago my system freezed when i tried to log out and after rebooting KDE didn´t find some of the settings (fonts, icons, desktop, panels) anymore but the config files were still there and had the right values... |

Same thing happened again: Pressing some keys while the X server was restarting causes the freeze. I guess this must have something to do with KDE. Even after backing up and restoring the original config files KDE ignores them until i make a change to one of them in the control center. |

I've actually noticed this happening when I was using XFree86 4.3.0 w/ the radeon drivers, which would cause random lockups (it was expected, I was just testing) and if I was running KDE it lost its settings afterwards. |

I'm using 4.3.99 with the radeon drivers too, guess that's got something to do with it then. |
