DBD-Oracle and gentoo/sparc?

Hi all,

Slightly stumped and I'm starting to suspect this might not be feasible.

Problem: I need DBD::Oracle for use with some scripts that I use on a Sparc box. I've got them on a different box right now but would like to switch them back to my main admin terminal. The thing is this is a Blade 100, running Gentoo/Sparc64. Now I've built DBD-Oracle successfully on x86 and Solaris using the usual Oracl Libraries tricks.

Question: Anyone have any luck building DBD-Oracle on Sparc/Linux? If so care to share your experience?
