will there be probably a linux version of battlefield 1942??
or will transgaming support this game, so its playable with winex?

This can only be answered by the developers of bf 1942 which will probably say NO (though IIRC there will be a linux server for bf1942, have a look at the website)

Why should we know any better than transgaming or the transgaming forum ? |

nice response.
ive taken the liberty to check the forums and from what ive seen there is a lot of talk and popularity behind it on transgaming.com
