I remember reading a while back about the AGP bug with AMD based systems and linux. I haven't heard anything on the subject lately. I was wondering if anybody knows what progress has been made in that area? _________________ 01001010 01010100 01001000 01001010 |

If your speaking of the bug with the advanced cache on newer athlons I think it was fixed with kernel 2.4.19. I know switching to 2.4.19 cleared up the random lockups I had been experiancing when playing 3d games.
I believe there is mention of this in the Nvidia documents. |

Nvidia claims to have a workaround in their drivers so it shouldn't matter if you're using an Nvidia based card with recent drivers.
Otherwise as fuxored stated it's fixed 2.4.19. |
