Can use Joystick only as root , not as user :S

Hi , i hope somebody can help me out , coz i want to
play tuxracer as user before i go to bed

.

My problem is , i can use the gamepad only as root , not
as normal user and i dont want to use su everytime.

i own a sb live and sidewinder.
ns558 fixed in kernel
loaded modules :
emu10k1 as module
emu10k1-gp as module
joydev as module

have i to be in a special group or something ?

hi,

bash-2.05a$ ls -l /dev/js*
lr-xr-xr-x 1 root root 9 09-25 23:59 /dev/js0 -> input/js0

bash-2.05a$ ls -l /dev/input/js*
crw------- 1 djoi root 13, 0 1970-01-01 /dev/input/js0
