I have installed Gentoo Linux 1.4 on a Powerbook G3 Lombard with Bronze Keyboard. Everything works fine! Gentoo People do a really great job!
But I have two problems:
1. The internal Modem doesn't work. Kernel finds it at boottime, see the messages log below, but it is not possible to use it with kppp, because I only found the two devices ttyS0 an ttyS1 in /dev but not tty00. So what's wrong here. I believe, I forget something to change in the devfsd.conf.
2. Mac OS X is on the harrdisk too. I installed "Mac on Linux" which works great, but I'm not able to use the keyboard. The pushed button in an editor for instance seems to be hang in OSX until I press ESC. I Know, there is a molrc.input in /etc/mol and I believe that the PB has a keyboard with ID "2" but it doesn't work, unfortunately.
Thanks
