I started to install 1.4rc1 last night and when I ran pci-setup it didn't find the any of my pci cards, also when I did an insmod on the it gives me a generic error about poss. irq conflicts which I have never had to deal with in my Linux ventures. Is thiere something I am missing?
btq, i have an Nvidia card, 2 eeproo 10/100 nics, sound and scsi card. All were not found or able to be insmoded?????????
Should I wait until it is the actual release?
Thanks in advance |

Well, if 1.2 boot cd works, then you can use it to install 1.4
Just do as usualt execept use 1.4 stagex tarballs instead of 1.2 tarballs thats already on the cd. |

Why would it not work in 1.4? Just curious if something was working why change it?
BTW, it used to detect the eepro100(2 of them are installed) ,and aic7xxx. |
