My portage wants top downgrade Go

Any reasons why Go is being downgraded?

You're right, a downgrade would be "D". The "r" means upgrading this package will cause rebuilds on packages marked with "R", for example, dev-go/go-md2man-2.0.6.

You're right, a downgrade would be "D". The "r" means upgrading this package will cause rebuilds on packages marked with "R", for example, dev-go/go-md2man-2.0.6.

Go stuff is staticly linked this whenever go is rebuilt, go packages should also be rebuilt.

However portage didn't say why go should be rebuilt. Perhaps terminated world update?

No, dev-lang/go is upgrading and the catalyst of other packages to be rebuilt.
