Hello, so I am upgrading from a 7800x3d to a 9950x3d, what do I need to do before I install the new CPU. If possible I would like to do as much of the recompiling on the new CPU but I assume i will need to reinstall firmware kerrnel and microcode.fir the record I have March=native in my make.conf
Also any advice on any advice for getting things working the best with a dual ccd system |

Enabling the active pstate driver and perfcore (amd_pstate=active amd_perfcore=enabled) on the kernel command line is always nice though. |
