sooo i got new GPU intel arc one, but weird things have been happening, like sometimes when i turn on my PC one monitor does not turn on, i have to remove power from my PC wait for like a minute and then my second monitor works.
then i have been running ollama, SD and alot of these type of stuff, blender etc, on my GPu and sometimes i run stuff for hours, but sometimes my whole system freezes like its unresponsive, cant even enter shell, i have to fully reboot and i wonder why does this happen, is it driver issue? is my GPU faulty? or my power supply? how can i catch a trace of this happening? my dmesg is cleared out after reboot, what tools do you guys use for this? |

Using DP?
I have had similar troubles/problems with other hardware, IIRC it was something to do with DP-cables not being following spec, monitor not being turned properly off due to some power being fed from computer to monitor through DP-cable.
I had to try different cables until I found some that worked properly.
I also seem to recal we had a similar problem at work - which was fixed with a firmware update (for some nVidia-card IIRC) |

ye using DP my gpu has only 1 HDMI :/ , and its even from DP to DVI :D so i guess that could be issue, but its been fine with my previous gpu which is why i thought gpu was at fault, but its true this new gpu has newer DP standart |
