I have MATE gentoo, and can`t never update firefox?

Thanks in advance,

You are in a x86 stable system and there is no a stabilized version for this arch

Code: Select all

$ equery keywords firefox
Keywords for www-client/firefox:

134.0.1 | ~ o ~ o o ~ o ~ o o o ~ o o | 8 o       | gentoo
You can unmask by adding www-client/firefox::esr (or ::rapid) in package.accept_keywords file.

Thanks, that`s mean if I unmask I would have a version of firefox not stable for x86? There will be problems?

Mixing stable and non-stable packages could lead to some problems, usually some conflicts because the dependencies are masked.
In your case there are not many alternatives.

There won't be a stable x86 firefox anymore. We're generally trying to destabilize 32-bit arches as much as possible now, because face it, they're pretty dead now and causing tons of arch-testing work here. Especially big packages like firefox.

I'd suggest using the esr branch though if you want, just add

Code: Select all

www-client/firefox:esr ~x86
to your package.accept_keywords file.
